Celebrating Cultural Diversity

At Benchmark, we believe our differences make us stronger, and this week, during our 5th Annual Cultural Diversity Day, we came together to celebrate the traditions and experiences that shape who we are.

Through this year’s theme, Culture Connects Us, residents and associates shared music, food, and meaningful traditions from around the world.

It was a powerful reminder that our diversity strengthens how we live, work, and care for one another, proving we’re always Better Together.

Today we celebrated the 5th annual Cultural Diversity at Benchmark, which was led by Tanice, our Cultural Ambassador. We count ourselves lucky to have such a vibrant, diverse and warm group of associates at Benchmark at Mount Pleasant. Today we had an opportunity to learn more about the various cultures represented on our team. The food was delicious but the company was even better!

This week at Benchmark Mount Pleasant, we had our first meeting of the Benchmark Players. The first piece that we're tackling is "Love Letters", by A.R. Gurney. We can't wait to see it performed by residents for residents!

On Armed Forces Day, Benchmark honors the brave men and women who are currently serving, as well as all veterans, especially those in our communities who continue to inspire us every day.

It may be chilly outside, but our residents are bringing warm spring vibes inside! Working with the Executive Director, they planted their hand painted pots with an assortment of beautiful silk flowers. Next week we'll start planting the real deal outside in our garden beds.
