This gloomy afternoon was brightened up with a lively game of egg carton pong. Everyone took turns and participated, and listened to a message for Ash Wednesday! 🏓😊

We also celebrated Ken's 85th birthday and enjoyed some delicious dessert with our dinner! Happy Birthday, Ken! 🎂🥳

🥰 Happy Valentine's Day! We appreciate the outpouring of love - thank you to everyone who showered us with love by dropping off all of your amazing Valentine's cards and treats! We also played card BINGO, had some tasty snacks, listened to 50s love songs, and danced the afternoon away. ♥️

🎉🎈We celebrated Florence's 95th birthday today, which was marked with a festive celebration. Our thanks go to Barb for organizing this special event, featuring music by Alex. Thank you, Alex, and thank you to all our guests for being here. It was a wonderful Friday afternoon filled with music, singing, smiles, laughter, great company, and tasty refreshments! ♥️🥳

🇺🇸 Today we held our own Olympic activity. Carolyn spoke about her Special Olympics journey, sharing her medals from Japan and Ireland, and her experience in the opening ceremonies in Greece. 😊 We also discussed Deb's uncle Dr. David Martin, who was one of the key figures in the development of women's running. The event included a snowball bucket toss, awardance of medals, and snacks (Cheeto torches and patriotic popcorn from Tessy's). 🏅We then ended our event by watching the Olympic Ice Dancing event! ⛸️

We had a busy Monday to start our week. Karen and company came in and hosted Valentine Tic Tac Toe, BINGO, an alphabet game, a card race, and we made Valentines! Following that, we had exercises with Toni, and Lindsey stopped in to visit us too! This evening, we are enjoying some takeout pizza to celebrate National Pizza Day. ♥️🍕😊

And don't forget about our Valentine's Card Shower, please have cards in by Friday, 2/13! 💌

On this Groundhog's Day, we enjoyed some "ground hog" spread and crackers for an afternoon snack and we decorated for Valentine's Day! Dont forget about our Valentine's Day Card Shower! ♥️

On another cold winter afternoon here at Sunlight, we stayed warm and had some fun playing dice! The lucky Left, Right, Center dice game winners this afternoon were Betty and Shirley! Congrats ladies and enjoy your winnings! 🎲🙌🏼

🎲 This afternoon we played a new dice game that we call "looney dice" for Wacky Wednesday. There was hootin' and hollering, cheers and laughter! We really enjoyed this game today, thanks Deb! 😊

On this cold, windy afternoon we played a new game that we call "Sunlight Dice"! It was a hit and we will definitely play this one again! 🎲😊 The object is to get to the end of the board, however, player 1's dice roll takes the playing piece one direction, while player 2's dice roll takes it the opposite direction! Challenging and fun, lots of laughs were had! 🙌🏼
