Oakbrook Health & Rehabilitation is a 58-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Thorp, Wisconsin. Oakbrook Health & Rehabilitation offers both short and long-term care to individuals with physician orders for nursing and rehabilitation services. Additional services like respite and hospice care are available as well. We’re known for our friendly and competent staff, led by industry experts in their field of work. Together, our staff delivers care based on your needs and desires, and supplements it with home-cooked meals and a comprehensive activities program designed to offer you social, recreational, educational and spiritual opportunities. Easter came early at Oakbrook! 🐣

From Easter Bingo prizes to homemade treats fresh out of the kitchen, this week has been full of the kind of moments that make this place feel like home.

A special shoutout to our Resident Council President, Randy, for drawing the Easter basket winner — and congratulations to James for taking it home! 🎉 And a big thank you to our kitchen staff Marie for jumping in and helping our residents get those marshmallows perfectly melted. 🍬

There's more Easter fun still to come this week, and we can't wait to share it! 💛

Meet our March Employee Spotlight — Hope Lovell, Activity Assistant at Oakbrook! 🌟 Hope brings an energy to our halls that is impossible to miss. Upbeat, positive, and genuinely devoted to every resident she works with. Her manager says it best: the residents simply love having her around. 🤍

When asked what her favorite part of the job is, Hope said making residents smile, helping them through their day, and walking alongside them as they adjust to their new way of life. That kind of heart is what Oakbrook is all about.

Happy National Puppy Day from Oakbrook! 🐾 We had some very special visitors today and let's just say the residents approved! Nothing quite like a puppy visit to brighten up the day! Our residents also entered a drawing for a handmade puppy to take home and keep forever. Moments like these are what make Oakbrook feel like home. 🐶❤️

They put together special treat bags to hand out to our staff as a way of saying thank you for everything they do each day. Our team works hard to care for residents with compassion, patience, and dedication, and it meant so much to see the appreciation come full circle.

Oakbrook celebrated Fat Tuesday with a Mardi Gras party! 🎭💜 Residents sipped brandy slush, enjoyed Paczki from Sweet Memories Bakery in Thorp (a local tradition!), made festive masks, and played Bingo together. 🎉✨
