Oakbrook Health & Rehabilitation offers both short and long-term care to individuals with physician orders for nursing and rehabilitation services. Additional services like respite and hospice care are available as well. We’re known for our friendly and competent staff, led by industry exp

A huge thank you to Swiderski Equipment in Thorp for bringing out a tractor for our residents to check out today! 🚜💛

Things have certainly changed over the years — bigger, faster, and a whole lot more high-tech than what many of our residents remember from their farming days. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane and a great reminder of the rich history our residents carry with them.

This month's spotlight belongs to someone who makes Oakbrook feel like home, one smile at a time. 💛

Meet Sue Dahm, our Housekeeping team member of 4 years. Sue shows up every single day not just to keep things clean, but because she genuinely looks forward to saying good morning to each resident and seeing them smile back.

In her own words: she loves keeping the residents' home clean for them, greeting them every day, and working alongside her fellow team members.

Her manager says it best: outstanding with residents and their families, always smiling, and a very hard worker.

From Easter Bingo prizes to homemade treats fresh out of the kitchen, this week has been full of the kind of moments that make this place feel like home.

A special shoutout to our Resident Council President, Randy, for drawing the Easter basket winner — and congratulations to James for taking it home! 🎉 And a big thank you to our kitchen staff Marie for jumping in and helping our residents get those marshmallows perfectly melted. 🍬
