The Caregiver provides support to residents with in activities of daily living.
Primary Accountabilities include:
You will be responsible for helping the residents with feeding, showering, dressing, activities, companionship, housekeeping, laundry to name a few.
Become familiar with the care plan for each individual in the community.
Understand and assist individuals in exercises designed to improve or maintain, mobility range of motion and self-help skills.
Attend necessary staff meetings and in-service training.
Assist with basic medical treatment as prescribed.
Assist in medication administration and monitoring and ensure proper documentation of such.
Ensure open lines of communication with individuals, staff members, and administrator.
Assist in supervision of meal preparation and housekeeping, as assigned.
Have the ability to exercise mature judgment and relate to individuals in a warm, caring manner.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe home environment for individuals residing in the community.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Complete pre-employment requirements including in-house training and orientation
Complete a background check
High School Diploma or GED
