We hit the Trans Catalina Trail and it was intense, but we both agreed that if we didn’t have our hormones, we could not carry those heavy packs on that hike of about 20 miles of serious up and down terrain!! There are days that I want to scream because of how much misinformation patients are being told about hormones! It’s truly a form of malpractice in my opinion to spout inaccurate information to women that scares them and harms them by keeping them from taking hormones, which could help them physically, emotionally and improve their quality of life. it should be a woman’s choice. Not the provider’s. Period
