I’m going to fight aging as hard as the next person but, being grateful for our bodies and taking care of them is the biggest win💪💪
I plan to ride my horse, hike, and scuba dive until I’m 100! Who’s with me? 😁
100% of women who live long enough will go into menopause! This leads to issues with physical and mental health, economic issues, marital/family issues and so much more! Speak up and ask for the care that you deserve and let’s make a change!💪💪
This!! Menopause is not a disease, but as I’ve said so many times, we were not biologically created to live this long, so losing our hormones is not natural. Lack of estrogen and other hormones creates disease in women. Lack of testosterone creates disease in men. That’s all there is to it folks! Hormone replacement therapy helps to prevent many disease processes.
Getting outside and spending time with family is one of the greatest things you can do for your health ❤️❤️❤️
HERE IT IS! This is a study that I referenced in my video explaining that estrogen actually lowers breast cancer risk. Check it out for yourself!🔥
This is it- the study I mentioned in my video. Please check it out for yourself!🔥
To tell women they don’t need a hormone they naturally make/made ( testosterone !) and to scare them with false information when they use it is honestly just bad medicine !! Do better!!
Thank you !!
This is not the greatest picture, but the numbers are pretty startling! As we age, our chances of breast, cancer go up, and what corresponds with that? Hormone levels going down! Women in their 20s and 30s have a lower risk of breast cancer than women 50 and above and the only difference is a decrease in hormones naturally. We need to stop blaming estrogen for breast cancer and look at the statistics that show that women who take estrogen may actually have a decreased risk of breast Cancer and do have a decreased mortality from cancer and other diseases
Hormone hiker chicks are back with a vengeance! Havasupai is amazing and an incredible challenge we could not have done if we weren’t on our hormones!! Rubbed a little testosterone on before we hit the trail and kicked some a—!! It was a bucket list adventure and one we will never forget❤️❤️ with
Antidepressants definitely have their place and can be extremely effective but they are over prescribed for women who are having perimenopausal, or menopausal symptoms. The reason I started my journey into being a Menopause provider was because so many patients came to me telling me their gynecologist wanted me to put them on antidepressants for symptoms that were clearly hormonal . We need to do better. We need to listen to women and stop dismissing their symptoms. Thank you for this post
This is my badass patient Shari who at age 53 is competing in the Pro Women’s Bicycling Series against 18-35 year olds!!!! She is living proof that Menopause does not mean we are used up or old! Thank you so much Shari for the pictures and the positive words😄❤️ you are an inspiration 💪
I have the BEST staff!!!! So grateful for these amazing women! ( (Victoria and Kelli aren’t in the pics but are equally wonderful!)
Let’s say it again- estrogen decreases all cause mortality, especially heart disease!
let’s stop spreading myths and misinformation and start helping women feel better and be healthier! ❤️
I vote yes!! 😄
Yes! Perimenopause is the least acknowledged and least treated hormone issue. Most women don’t even know what’s going on with their bodies and their providers don’t know how to treat it. Progesterone deficiency can last a decade, and the symptoms can be severe.
A beautiful day on the trails with
Couldn’t do it without my hormones!
The WHI scared women and providers away from using hormones. This has damaged women and women’s health drastically. It’s time that the record be set straight and proper education about hormone’s safety and importance is taught to women and providers!!!
Sunday funny for you:)

Does MANopause exist?
Yes. Well, sort of.
Whereas women go through a drastic reduction in hormone production when ovulation ends. In men, the reduction is much slower and over many years.
This gradual decline of testosterone levels is called late-onset hypogonadism or age-related low testosterone. According to the Mayo Clinic, on average, a man’s testosterone levels decline about 1% a year after the age of 40 and most older men register testosterone levels within the normal range.
BUT an estimated 10-25% will have levels considered to be low. See your health care provider to find out if Testosterone might be right for you.
What nobody tells you about Perimenopause.
Perimenopause is a natural stage of a woman's life that is often never discussed. It is the transitional phase between regular periods and full menopause.
The journey through perimenopause can last for a significant duration, sometimes extending throughout a woman's forties and even beyond until full menopause is reached. It's a challenging phase, but it's crucial to remember that you are not alone, and treatment options are available. Most can be helped with Hormone Replacement Therapy. And if that's not an option for you, see our post from earlier this week about alternative ways to help with symptoms of menopause and perimenopause.
This MUST change!
I can’t tell you how often I hear this from my patients throughout the day.
Health care professionals, please educate yourself on the research. You are putting patients at risk and causing so much undeserved suffering.
“CONGRESS RISING TO THE MOMENT IS AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT THAT AN ENTIRE GENERATION OF WOMEN HAS BEEN LET DOWN.”
20-years ago, a study filled with inaccuracies and misleading information set off a chain of events that women’s health has still not recovered from, mainly that hormone replacement is dangerous.
Now, Representative Yevette Clarke (D-NY) is taking menopause to Capitol Hill to make menopause research a priority with the government.
It’s about time!
Finally, they are making a woman’s midlife health the priority it deserves
A great article was published in Oprahdaily.com by Jennifer Weiss-Wolf - executive director of the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center at NYU Law, and Dr. Sharon Malone, a board-certified ob-gyn and a certified menopause practitioner.
This is what you need to know!

😱SCARY THINGS ABOUT MENOPAUSE😱
This list could be a lot longer, but these are my top three.
The good news is that there is a definitive movement to change this. Doctors, educators, researchers, and advocates of women's issues are on a mission to improve and change the research and education about Menopause.
Women should not have to suffer in silence. SEE LINKS IN BIO.
🎃Happy Halloween All!🎃

🌎We took a trip around the globe to find out how other countries view menopause. It's 👁️opening, to say the least.
💪🏼It's time to modernize, demystify, and embrace menopause and aging-no matter where we live. This can be a beautiful time for a woman.
Intimacy and a healthy s*x life don't have to disappear with our hormones as we age. There is help and hope. We need to talk about these issues, and I want to help educate women about the options and what we can do to stop this from happening. We need support, good nutrition, exercise, and yes- sometimes we need hormone replacement therapy.

The smile on my face is because I love what I do! It’s a privilege to get to help so many women and men😄
When estrogen drops off the brain suffers and so do women. There is an increased incidence of depression and anxiety, as well as an increase in dementia and Alzheimer’s. Estrogen isn’t the bad guy.
This post is what needs to be shouted from the rooftops and more importantly, taught to providers who care for women.
