As we enter the sacred season of Lent—a time of penance, fasting, and prayer—we are invited to reflect more deeply on the Passion and death of our Lord.

Lent offers a meaningful opportunity to grow in prayer, one of the three pillars of this holy season, together with fasting and almsgiving. Throughout Lent, the Sisters at Mary Health of the Sick will be remembering your departed loved ones in their prayers.

If you would like your intentions included in our daily Masses during Lent, please complete the prayer intention form by clicking the button below and submitting it. A donation link is provided, donation in not required for prayer request.

Kindly list the names of those you wish to be remembered and return the completed form by email or by mail to the address below.

From February 18 through April 2, 2026, your prayer intentions will be placed in a basket in our chapel at Mary Health of the Sick in Newbury Park. The Sisters will faithfully keep you and your loved ones in their prayers throughout the Lenten season.

As we journey through this sacred season of Lent, we want to take a moment to recognize and appreciate the incredible volunteers who give their time and hearts to our thrift store.

Because of YOU, our store is welcoming, organized, and beautiful. Because of YOU, the Sisters are able to continue their mission. Truly, if it weren’t for our volunteers, the Sisters wouldn’t have what they have, and our thrift store wouldn’t look as wonderful as it does today.
