Silverado Thousand Oaks Memory Care Community opened in March 2021 and will serve 82 people with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-impairing conditions.

Silverado Thousand Oaks Memory Care Community has been designed to provide more than just assisted living. It is a specialized memory care community dedicated to enriching life for the memory impaired.

We had an awesome day with our Silverado STEM Stars Club! 🚀 One of our amazing residents, John—a real-life rocket scientist—shared his passion and knowledge about rockets. We did a fun experiment to learn how rockets work using Newton’s laws of physics. It was a great mix of science, stories, and hands-on learning. Such a fun and inspiring day! 💙🔬🚀 #

Ringing in Rosh Hashanah with sweet moments and even sweeter treats! 🍎🍯 We shared a meaningful lesson, cooked up some delicious glazed honey apples, and had a blast with Tosh-themed puzzles. Our residents had a great time kicking off the new year together!

What you can’t see is our DRE behind the camera, belting out classic songs with not-so-classic lyrics. Today’s “Yesterday” remix included: "Yesterday, Linda’s glasses slid down her nose, Jane chased a cat who stole our scones. Oh I believe in yesterday." 😂
