Getting all your protein in can be challenging. To retain and even grow more muscle you need to be eating about 1 gram of protein for every pound of bodyweight. This means if you are 150 pounds you need to be eating 150 grams of protein daily. And this can be challenging for many of us that don’t want to eat 4 chicken breasts per day. But today I’m going to make it even easier for you to reach your protein goals and retain that precious muscle.
I’m using a dairy free coconut yogurt but you can easily do this with a dairy based yogurt as well. Yogurt tends to have a lot of sugar and additives that spike your insulin and upset your stomach. So look for one with as little sugar and additives as possible.

Yogurt is popular for its probiotics, but pasteurization of dairy-based yogurt can kill off the probiotic content reducing the benefits. For this reason I suggest a coconut based or dairy-free yogurt.

You can use just about any protein powder. I’ve found that a vanilla flavor goes best with the natural yogurt flavor.
You can easily customize this for your dietary needs. Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Grain Free, Lectin Free, Soy Free, & Sugar Free.

Ingredients
- 1 Serving (3/4 cup) of Yogurt
- 1 Serving Protein Powder (more is ok)
- 1 Tbsp Nut Butter
- 1 Tbsp Dark Chocolate

Directions
1. In a small bowl mix yogurt and protein powder with a spoon or fork.
2. Melt Dark Chocolate and Nut Butter (if needed) in the microwave. Drizzle on top and enjoy!

Can be stored in the fridge for later.
