Tuesday Tips with Dr. Shani! Today we are focusing on uphill training. Specifically reverse walking uphill. There are five key health benefits to doing this:
1. Higher calorie burn
2. Decreases stress on knees
3. Strengthens back muscles
4. Improves coordination and balance
5. Strengthens leg muscles that are less commonly used during typical exercise

Tuesday Tips with Dr. Shani!
Today we are continuing our focus on sciatic nerve floss. The piriformis muscle is located on either side of the body, reaching from your sacrum, where your spine meets your pelvic bones, around to attach at the top of each of your femur bones. This muscle can cause pain or discomfort in your sciatica, buttocks, hips, and/or pelvic floor. Doing this piriformis stretch can help alleviate some pain!
