Meet one of our couples, Jan and Otto, whose love story began at Belmont Village. What started as a friendship soon blossomed into something more. 💍 The two tied the knot at Belmont Village Senior Living Lakeway in 2022. 🏡🥂🤵👰 We caught up with Jan and Otto, now going into their third year of marriage, to see what they had to say.

Congratulations, Lincoln Common, on winning Urban Land Institute's 2024 Americas Award for Excellence! 🏆🌟 We’re incredibly proud to have our Belmont Village Senior Living Lincoln Park community be part of this vibrant, walkable community that continues to evolve and thrive. The master plan of Lincoln Commons is comprised a mix of new and old buildings to refresh the area but keep the Lincoln Park charm. Our Lincoln Park community was designed to resemble the historic Nellie Black building that previously resided on the site. A vision that came to life thanks to architects at Antunovich Associates and construction team at W.E. O'Neil Construction.

Our seniors have been going for gold as Belmont Village communities across the nation hosted their own Olympic games the past couple of weeks. 🏅🔥 From break dancing and volleyball to basketball and dressage (Olympic Equestrian) - we have witnessed incredible camaraderie and sportsmanship by our residents and staff. The Longest Day is the day we fight! 💪 We had incredible events throughout our Belmont Village communities nationwide on the longest day of the year in support of the Alzheimer's Association. June 2024 Employee Spotlight 🌟

This month, we are thrilled to spotlight Allyson Fujii, who is the Memory Program Coordinator at our Belmont Village Senior Living San Jose community! Allyson has been an integral part of our team since February 2013, when she started as an Activity Assistant. Through her passion and commitment, we have seen her rise through the ranks, becoming the Activity Program Coordinator in March 2016 and then the Memory Program Coordinator in March 2019, a role in which she has excelled for over five years. In October 2022, Allyson successfully started training and mentoring other staff as a Memory Program Coordinator-IT Preceptor for our Management In-Training Programs. Due to her unwavering dedication and passion, she has been nominated by leadership and staff to be selected as a finalist for the 2024 California Assisted Living Association (CALA) Excellence in Service Award for Department Director.

Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day when nearly 160,000 Allied troops landed along a 50-mile stretch of heavily-fortified French coastline, to fight on the beaches of Normandy, France. May 2024 Employee Spotlight 🌟

Theresa's journey with Belmont Village spans nearly two decades! In 2005, she started as an LPN at our Belmont Village St. Matthews community in Louisville. While at Belmont, she chose to further her education, earning her RN degree first and then her BSN. She continued to thrive at Belmont Village and was soon promoted to the Wellness Coordinator position. Shortly after, Theresa entered our Director of Resident Care In Training (DRCS-IT) program and after completing the extensive training, she was promoted to Director of Resident Care Services at St. Matthews where she stayed for a little over two years. Then in early 2020, Belmont opened its first Florida community in Fort Lauderdale and Theresa transferred there as the DRCS to lead and train the new clinical team. With Theresa's continued success and admirable leadership skills, she was promoted to her current role as Area Director of Clinical Services in 2023. Theresa now supports our clinical teams in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky and Texas communities. Her journey is a true testament to her endless dedication and passion, supporting our clinical teams and enhancing our residents' lives.

We're incredibly fortunate to have Theresa as part of our team, and we look forward to witnessing her continued success and positive impact in the years to come. Thank you for all you do! 🙏❤️

It's National Volunteer Week and we are showcasing the incredible acts of service our residents and staff have been a part of over the last several months. 🌟

Belmont Village Senior Living Green Hills residents have been designing and crafting bracelets for The Nashville Bracelet Project, raising funds for local non-profits. The proceeds are supporting Isaiah 117 House’s mission to provide a loving and safe home to children in need. We're thrilled to be a part of the “Red Door Painting" event which was the start of this construction project, and look forward to raise more funds.

Belmont Village Senior Living Cardiff by the Sea came together for an inspiring, Sustainable Fashion Show, showcasing eco-friendly designs crafted by our talented residents and staff. Fashion designs were sold with more than $4,400 in proceeds benefiting the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish America.

Belmont Angels - created in our Belmont Village Senior Living Los Gatos community – teamed up with “WE and Our Neighbors” to create care packages for women in shelters, collaborated with The Fish Pantry to assemble hygiene packs for the homeless as well as joined forces with the Los Gatos Police Department to make comfort pillows and teddy bears for children affected by domestic violence.

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, Belmont Village Senior Living Lincoln Park is dedicating each month to perform acts of kindness, including a Yappy Hour adoption event for shelter dogs, hosting a blood drive and making packed lunches to be donated to Saint Clement’s for distribution to neighborhood homeless and refugees.

Belmont Village Senior Living St. Matthews community is on a mission to make a difference as they approach their 25th anniversary by giving back through 25,000 community service hours. From various philanthropic initiatives, they have already completed 3,500 service hours and are committed to serving in more ways this year.

Our residents let the good times roll at our Mardi Gras-inspired cocktails, collections, and conversation night, showcasing their talents and collections with residents, families and friends. Resident collections varied from cross stitching and ceramics to three published books, model airplanes, beautiful artwork, and a clown collection.
