Originally established by certified hand therapist Ann England in 1977, Hand Rehabilitation Specialists remains a therapist-owned private practice. Five of our six highly-skilled occupational and physical therapists have attained the highly prestigious designation of Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs). CHTs are trained in the intricate anatomy of the arm and hand and the technical complexities of de

licate microscopic surgeries performed on injured hands. Because of the excellence and training of all of our therapists, many of the top doctors and surgeons in Southern California refer their patients to Hand Rehabilitation Specialists.

Our Story

The occupational therapists and physical therapists at Hand Rehabilitation Specialists are experts in providing therapy for all types of injuries and diseases of the hand, wrist, elbow, arm, and shoulder. Our staff of six highly-skilled occupational and physical therapists has more than 100 years of combined experience and includes four Certified Hand Therapists (CHT’s). We provide comprehensive, patient-oriented assessment and therapy that includes involving you in treatment planning and educating you about all aspects of your injury and treatment plan. Fabrication of custom splints (orthoses) for protection, pain relief, sports, or mobilization is one of our specialties. Serving Ventura County and the Conejo Valley with offices in Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, California, our philosophy is to provide accurate assessment, immediate care and effective state of the art treatment so patients are back to work - and play - as fast as possible.
