It may be the last day for National Yoga Month, but this pose is my everyday day go to like breath work. 🧘♀️
Child’s Pose/ Balasana,
is a very grounding pose to start your day while clearing out the chaos to bring calm and clarity.🌻
Clearing the mind with breath and grounding down to the earth is an excellent way to lengthen your spine, open your hips, stretch your thighs, touch your toes and activate your parasympathetic system.
If you or your children are having a stressful day, take 5 minutes, go to your mat and enjoy the moment of stillness and peace in Child’s Pose.
I also LOVE creating a yoga flow for my athletes and expectant Moms who require specific functional movement. Flowing with my tennis racket pre match always enhances my performance on the court.
