Gonzalez, MD, FCCP, FACP
As a practicing physician in Internal, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. I realized that the successful treatment of chronic illnesses cannot rely on drugs alone. An integrative approach including dietary modifications, food supplements and herbs often provides extraordinary results. To help incorporate this philosophy into my clinical practice I have created this website. Miguel Gonzalez, MD
Dr. Miguel Gonzalez received his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of New Mexico in 1982. Dr. Gonzalez performed his postgraduate training the Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship at Sepulveda Veterans Hospital, Olive View County Hospital UCLA Affiliate from 1986-1988. He received his Board Certification in Internal Medicine in 1986 and Pulmonary Medicine in 1988. Dr Gonzalez had a clinical professorship in Pulmonary Medicine at UCLA, Sepulveda in 1988. Dr. Gonzalez then decided to open his own internal medicine/pulmonary medicine practice in Thousand Oaks in1989. From 1989 to 2005 Dr Gonzalez has worked as an Intensive Care Specialist at Los Robles Regional Hospital, caring for his patients in the critical care/intensive care units as well as in the general medical/surgical units. His practice currently is aimed at focusing on the whole picture of the patient as it relates to their healthcare and tailoring each patient’s treatment plan based on their particular burdens, such as environmental, hereditary, dietary, lifestyle, physical and mental health. Dr. Gonzalez has done extensive training and research in all aspects of functional, integrative and holistic medicine such as mind-body medicine, bio-identical hormone therapy, biodetoxification, chemical and heavy metal toxicity & sensitivity, Lyme disease, IV vitamin therapy and many others. He has incorporated all of this training, research and philosophy into his practice and has helped thousands of patients on their road to better health.
