And then when you are moving throughout your day, see what situations you let your back round and “turn off”.
For me when ever I have a drink at a restaurant or while I’m out I ALSO have a water. The water will help make you feel more full while the sugary beverage will make you want to consume more of what ever you are eating. Go ahead and have those drinks just be conscious of not only what calories it’s giving you but what calories it will make you want.
Unpopular opinion for the fitness industry.
We would be out of a job if everyone moved more. There’s a reason the first commercial big box gym didn’t open until 1965 and I’d argue it wasn’t a big hit for years to come.
BUT
With the lack of movement and the influx of services and technology pushing us to stay home and sedentary. Gyms and personal trainers are a necessity and will most likely become more so as we move in this sedentary direction.
You might have heard the saying have 3 hobbies, one to make you wealthy, one to make you healthy, and one to keep you creative or help you grow.
I also like the idea of killing multiple birds with one stone. I drive to work and listen to podcasts or books. I take a book to the dog park and sometimes post! When it starts to cool down @rogue_diaries will join me on jogs

*Poor Posture is not always the cause of pain* but if you can’t figure out why something hurts, and doctors clear you of other possibilities, come on in and we will check out your posture and see if putting you in alignment will change your pain!

I recommend bringing bands with handles, “super bands”, “mini loop bands” and a lacrosse ball. In my bag I also have an interval timer, sometimes my training watch, and a jump rope.
But if you take away ANYTHING from this it is to bring a key lock to the gym, yes it can be cut, but it can’t be broken into like combination locks can. Every locker that I witnessed being broken into at the gym was a combo lock.

Men! Drink 3 Liters of water a day with whatever else you drink.
Women! Drink 2 liters a day minimum along side with anything else you drink every day.
Caffeine and alcohol are ok, just make sure you get that water!
