This is my birthday month, and yesterday was the first day of 16 days of travel for me!!

Today I’m in Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada. I’ll be hiking on my own and then connecting with friends later. I’m really looking forward to connecting with land, feeling its energy and noticing what changes inside for me.

Visiting Valley of Fire State Park was a much needed break from the heaviness happening in this country. It was an opportunity to unplug. I found myself sitting on the red rocks, trying to interpret the petroglyphs, and was mesmerized by the Big Horns. I left feeling centered and grounded. Hopeful and renewed at the possibility of helping others find a way to calm their nervous system. Message me for details.

These beautiful creatures live in Griffith Park. They were on a trail traveled by lots of humans. They kept their distance, and remained very aware of their surrounding. Look at how healthy they are! So great to see these beautiful creatures coexisting with us.

After 5 days of rain, we are finally back outside. The view at the top was stunning! Hard to believe we’re just minutes from a neighborhood.

November 16, 2025 storm update. I’m sitting outside enjoying a pause in the storm. Birds are chirping and enjoying nibbles from our grass. Bigger birds like hawks are circling overhead searching for breakfast.

Morning is a precious time of day to call on my spirit guides, and to listen quietly for guidance from within.

Whatever season you’re in right now, I hope you are being kind to yourself. Nurturing and listening to your inner wisdom, and taking steps forward toward the purpose you are here too fulfill.

The beautiful waterfall at the Mount Whitney portal. Even if you’re not a hiker, this is a magical place to visit. It offers a stark contrast to the beauty of the red rocks in the high desert below.

Each morning I step outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of morning. While Southern California doesn’t offer all four seasons, this year we’ve been blessed with rain!

So when the rain started pouring down around 6 am, I took this as a sign from mother nature. I opened my curtains and looked outside. Then I walked outside and watched the rain fall, and enjoyed the wind and the leaves.

These moments give me time to pause. Time to listen, and time to express gratitude for all that is happening in my life.

The rain also brings hope of a strong winter, spring flowers, and water filling our reservoirs.

Please take time to listen to the rain, to feel the cool breeze, and watch the leaves falling. Then with your hands on your heart, listen to the messages that come from within.
