PSA: Shopped at Underwood Family Farm in Moorpark today. Harvest Festival is half price today ONLY!

The farm stand did not disappoint! Heirloom tomatoes, kale, leafy greens, onions, picked garlic, and chili hot sauce.

As we finished the Grasslands Trail at Malibu Creek State Park we watched vultures circling above us. Then we found one eating while others were perched in the tree waiting for an opportunity to eat.

Katelyn ran 53 miles. The last 20 miles it was cold, and dark, and crew was not allowed on the trails. Sadly, she missed a checkpoint by 3 minutes and that ended her race. Fittingly that check point was Camp Osito Rancho which translates to little bear. 🐻 Katelyn ran a great race. She seemed to get stronger and calmer with each mile. It was an honor to be part of her support crew.

The aid station was at the top of Snow Summit so we were able to catch her running by before the next two mile uphill which she completed in 30 minutes!!!

The crew chief and videographer left Vince and I in charge of supporting Katelyn at the 31 mile aid station. She came in strong and ate some food before heading back out.

As an entrepreneur I get to decide what I do every day. Most of my clients think I hike daily, and I wish that were true. I would live to hike daily and do private coaching every afternoon. But the truth is there’s a lot of paperwork too. I snapped some pictures of my workspace so you can see the process of organizing events by folder, labeling, gathering all my notes, maps, magazines and everything else that goes in to putting on an event.

Very grateful for this work, and for the opportunity to create how I spend my time supporting people like you! ❤️❤️🤗

In southern California it’s always a good time to go to the beach. Even better when you can share it with loved ones and friends.

There’s just nothing like the smell of the salty air, the feeling of your feet in the sand, and the sound of the waves.

If you live near a lake or an ocean, remember to take time to enjoy the gifts it has to offer. It’s healing, calming, and grounding.
