Excited to have Seedz Brewery join the Harbor Country Chamber! Their presence strengthens our business community.
Seedz is a boutique brewery committed to utilizing locally sourced ingredients from the Midwest. They take pride in using 100% local grains sourced from Empire Malting, Sugar Creek Malting Company, and Granor Farms. Hops are cultivated by Howe Farms and Hop Head Farms. If you’re dreaming of fresh-picked berries, make sure to plan a stop at in Berrien Springs.

There’s nothing like wandering the fields and filling your box with sweet, sun-ripened strawberries.

It couldn’t be easier:

2️⃣ Grab a box they provide
3️⃣ Pick your berries (and taste test your favorites 🍓)
4️⃣ Get them weighed—just $2.50/lb (this box was only $7!)

We are thrilled to announce that Fred's Detroit Style Pizza in Harbert, MI has joined our Chamber membership! They serve delicious, freshly made Detroit-style pizza in partnership with Gather in Harbert. The dough is crafted daily, using only the highest quality ingredients! 🍷Enjoy cocktails from Gather, all within the same venue.

Initially launched as a pop-up, they are now serving weekly in a fast-casual environment.
Open Fridays & Saturdays 4pm-9pm EST for takeout, dine in and now local delivery.

🏖️ Top beaches for “singing sand” in Harbor Country, Michigan:
📍 Warren Dunes State Park (Sawyer)
•Best overall bet
•The sand here is fine, dry, and dune-formed, which is ideal for the squeaking effect
•Head away from the waterline toward the base of the dunes
👉 Why it works:
The tall dunes constantly refresh the sand with the right grain texture

📍 Cherry Beach (Harbert)
•Smaller, quieter beach with less foot traffic
•When conditions are right, the sound is more noticeable because it’s peaceful
👉 Tip:
Walk in areas that look untouched—less compacted sand = louder “sing”

📍 Weko Beach (Bridgman)
•Good mix of dune + open beach terrain
•Often overlooked compared to Warren Dunes
👉 Bonus:
Easier access if you don’t want a long dune hike

•Dry sand only → avoid early morning dew or wet shoreline
•Midday is best → sun dries the grains out
