📣 Day 1 Recap – Youth Sport Performance Camp

We’re off to a strong start! 💪

Today we welcomed 32 young athletes for the first session of our summer camp—and the energy was 🔥 from the start. We kicked things off with movement prep and speed & agility running drills designed to translate directly to performance on the field.

The focus was on fundamentals:
✅ Kettlebell Deadlift
✅ Russian KB Swing
✅ Goblet Squat

We wrapped up with a 6-minute partner AMRAP to reinforce form and build confidence under light fatigue:
• 8 KB Deadlifts
• 8 Russian Swings
• 8 Goblet Squats

Lots of learning, lots of sweat—and several parents already telling us they can’t wait for the next session. 👏

🚨 Bring a Friend Week at The Pit Fitness Ranch! 🚨

At The Pit, we believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from shared effort. From June 9–13, we’re inviting you to share that experience by bringing your friends to class—on us.

Here’s how it works:
*One class per day: Friends may attend one class per day, Monday through Friday

*No limits: Bring as many friends as you'd like

*Ages 14 and up: Open to teens and adults

*Waiver required: All guests must complete the “Get Started” form at https://pitfitnessranch.com/ before participating

Whether your friends are new to fitness or seasoned athletes, this is an opportunity to introduce them to the unique environment of The Pit—where we train hard, support each other, and grow together.

Let’s come together, push our limits, and continue to build a community that thrives on mutual respect and shared goals.

FREEDOM Lets You Choose!

As a team of 4, complete 4 rounds of bike, row, run, and swim.

You will have the opportunity to switch roles at the completion of each round - stay with your strengths or rotate stations as you wish.

🌊 The swim will be a 30m out-and-back to a platform, with a flotation device provided (and required), plus full safety measures in place.
