This Erik Blutinger who went with ABAH to Bhutan twice, was a founder of ABAH Foundation and its first executive secretary, and has gone on to get a Masters degree and is now an attending in Emergency Department in Mt Sinai Hospital on the front lines of the battle against COVID. Great news! We have a new medical student who plans to go to Bhutan this summer to co timur our interviewing field in estigstions! Emily Calabria is her name. She is interested in investigating beliefs about breast cancer and breast cancer screening ..

NEXT STEP: Apply to present the results of our interview data at a national medical conference. Have submitted a proposal to the Annual Meeting of American College of Preventive Medicine which will be in Denver in May 2020

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service at the National Referral hospital resumed from yesterday after almost eleven months. The new upgraded machine was officially inaugurated today.

Excitinh step in study..with help of daughter Winona and friend and supporter Greg Hinsley, copies of the systematic I interviews raw data have been made . Now data entry and analysis begins on what mothers in Bhutan are concerned about when their children have radiological exams on the newly installed CT scanners.

We are so grateful to all who made itnpossi le. Alysia has complete 50 interviews! In all regions where Alissa gathered the free listed items! And she has seen the entire nation of Bhutan and has still a werkbleft there.
