MD Therapist Steps Up To Judge At USMC!

Cherie Michelle attended and completed massage therapy programs at Lake Tahoe Massage School, California in 1995 and Harrisburg Area Community College, Pennsylvania in 2014, and became a Freedom Member of World Massage Festival in 2018.

In 2001 she acquired a RYT200 certification from Nosara Interdisciplinary Yoga, in order to help bring another healing modality to her community. Today she consistently practices, studies, and shares yoga.

Cherie holds certifications in Swedish Massage, Maternity Massage, Sports Therapy and Orthopedic/Clinical Massage. And has acquired hundreds of CEU’s in sports therapy/orthopedic/clinical modalities because she found they consistently helped clients to manage their pain & stress symptoms, and take steps to heal themselves. In her 30 years of practice she has experienced work in spas, chiropractic offices, professional sports training facilities, and private practice. Currently Cherie has a private practice at Catoctin Mountain Massage & Wellness Center in Thurmont, Maryland.

Her greatest joy is seeing a client feel a positive change in their physical &/or subtle energy body that helps them be a better person outside of our treatment space.

Due to theft, the Apothecary doors are now closed unless you are in house for a treatment and for town events.
I would have given you a bag if you needed it. I will share my homemade soaps if you NEED it. I have been homeless and broke before. I know THE NEED.
Stealing is for cowards. Have courage and speak up for yourself!!

During COLORFEST, this duo, the Dysfunctional Housewives, will set up at our center!!! Sarah will be serving up her amazing CHOCOLATE BARK 😋 and Hilary has made a variety of semiprecious stone bracelets, sure to please the eye!
Old Market Studios will be set up with us too! She has her fine art & crafts for you to fall in love with and take home!

Located in downtown Thurmont MD. Easy on/off highway. No ‘traffic issues’ (a one stoplight town💖) and a clientele that is far from local. So far we have been privileged to serve people from Annapolis, Harper’s Ferry, Deep Creek… Chambersburg, Harrisburg, Hershey, York, & Philadelphia PA…. towns I cannot remember from NY & NJ… Richmond Virginia!

ColorFest is THIS WEEKEND in Thurmont MD, and the Mountain Apothecary will be OPEN❣️
This little shop features hand poured, small batch soaps, skin loving balms, and chapsticks.
We have TEA & will sharing free samples of a homegrown recipe of Spearmint/Rose & Orange peel.
There are TWO artists hanging out with us as well!!!
