Large animals aren’t the only thing we work on!

This is my dog, Denali. She is an 8 year old Staffordshire Terrier who has diagnosed lymes disease and anaplasmosis which can cause flare ups in her arthritis. Often times she deals with problems in her hips, sometimes causing enough pain that we are unable to touch them. Red light has helped her so much! She will go from anxious when we start from discomfort to laying down falling asleep.

What is red light or cold laser?
Red light therapy has so many benefits! It is also known as LLLT (low-level laser therapy) which applies light emitting diodes to the surface of the body. The light reacts with the cells getting the mitochondria of a cell to produce more atp (energy) to promote healing. Red light also interacts with hemaglobin in the blood and melanin in the skin. Use before a ride to loosen muscles, use after a ride to help tense muscle, use on wounds to quicken the healing process, use on injuries to strengthen and heal faster. The options are endless!
