Santa just called the Kiwanis Club of Tiffin and wanted to confirm that the Kiwanis Christmas Parade began at 7:30 P. M. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 - and we told him yes, make sure you get to St. Joseph's Church by 6:30 P. M. for line-up. We anticipate the headwinds from the North Pole will make his trip easier.

He also asked us to remind everyone that he is still watching who is naughty and who is nice.

Honor to those who served.

THE KIWANIS CLUB OF TIFFIN IS TEAMING UP WITH THE YMCA OF BUCYRUS-TIFFIN TO HELP ALLEVIATE FOOD INSECURITY FOR STUDENTS IN NEED AT TIFFIN CITY SCHOOLS AND HOPEWELL-LOUDON

In today’s world, food insecurity is an issue now as much as ever. The Kiwanis Club of Tiffin is committed to helping our area students in the Tiffin City and Hopewell-Loudon school systems by supplementing the Backpack Food Program that is provided by the YMCA of Bucyrus-Tiffin. The Kiwanis Club of Tiffin is holding a drive-thru food drop-off at Kiwanis Manor, 7 West Market St. in Tiffin on Friday, November 7th from 3:00 – 5:30pm. Suggested family meal items include:

· Knorr pasta side, can of chicken, can of green beans
· Box of pasta, can of spaghetti sauce (aluminum or plastic – no glass (a seasoning packet proves to be most cost-effective)
· Bag of rice, can of chicken, can of cream of chicken soup
· Can of tuna, box of macaroni and cheese
· Pancake mix
· Knorr Mexican Rice side, can of black beans
· Bag of mashed potatoes, can of Campbell’s pot roast soup
Meals can be placed in Ziplock bags or plastic shopping bags (don’t have to be but it is helpful in knowing how many meals we have when the drive concludes).

Cash donations are encouraged and will also be collected the day of the drive at Kiwanis Manor.

Aside from the drop-off day at Kiwanis Manor, food items/meals may be placed in drop-off boxes at the following sites

Superior Credit Union, 203 N. Sandusky St., Tiffin
YMCA of Bucyrus-Tiffin, 180 Summit St., Tiffin
Kroger, 790 West Market St., Tiffin
Bassett’s Market, 479 E. Market St., Tiffin

We encourage our neighbors in the community to open their hearts to youth in our schools who are in need of good meals.
