Spreading holiday cheer with a beautiful performance, the Arcadia High School Choir delivered a wonderful performance at the Mercy Health — Tiffin Hospital Volunteer Christmas Celebration.

This special moment was a heartfelt way to thank our volunteers for all they do to support the hospital’s success and enhance the patient experience throughout the year. We are so grateful for their dedication—and for the talented students who helped make the celebration extra meaningful this holiday season!

Lord of time,
The end of a calendar year and the beginning of a new one is always an opportunity to reflect on where we have been and where we want to be going. We thank you for the gift of this past year. We thank you for the gift of time spent with family and friends, for the joy of laughter and for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

May our reflection on this past year open us to the gift of your wisdom, and may our anticipation of the year ahead strengthen us in the hope that we might grow closer to you. We offer this prayer in the name of the God who is the source of all that has been and all that will be. Amen.

This Christmas Eve, we reflect on this prayer as we prepare to celebrate Christmas.
God of life and peace,

The birth of your son Jesus in Bethlehem so long ago still brings joy and wonder to the hearts of lives of so many today. As we prepare to celebrate Christmas, give us hearts filled with gratitude for the gift of your son.

May your Holy Spirit inspire us that we might be faith-filled reflections of your presence and love for one another as Jesus is for us. May the voice of the angels that led the shepherds to Bethlehem remind us of our call to be the voice of so many ignored and marginalized in our world. May the star that moved the wise men to travel great distances to greet the savior guide us to those in need in our lives and communities. May Christ be born into our hearts and minds this Christmas that he might live in us on this holy day and throughout the year.

We pray with hearts overflowing with joy and gratitude. Amen.

We were honored to receive a special delivery of handmade blankets and Get-Well cards from Zeta Pi Beta at Heidelberg University, created in collaboration with the Linus Project. These dedicated volunteer “blanketeers” poured their time, creativity, and compassion into each blanket—providing not just warmth, but also a sense of security and comfort for the children we serve.

These blankets will be given to children who visit our emergency department and are seriously ill, experiencing trauma, or otherwise in need of extra care. The love and encouragement poured into every piece will make a meaningful difference during some of their most challenging moments.

Thank you to the members of Zeta Pi Beta and the Linus Project for supporting our mission and helping bring comfort to our youngest patients. Your generosity truly warms our hearts!

One of our favorite holiday traditions is supporting the Salvation Army Tiffin Citadel Angel Tree program—and once again, our team has shown just how big their hearts are.

This season, our employees eagerly took Angel Tree tags and went above and beyond to provide gifts for children and families in our community. Their generosity and selflessness never cease to inspire us. From thoughtful toys to warm clothing, each gift represents a moment of joy and a reminder that kindness truly makes a difference.

We are grateful for every team member who helped ensure a merry and meaningful Christmas for kids in our community. Thank you for embodying the spirit of giving and for lifting up others in such a special way.
