To be eligible for a free screening mammogram, you must meet the following criteria:

🎀 You are 40 years of age or older.
🎀 You do not have insurance, including private insurance and Medicare or Medicaid coverage.
🎀 You have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months.
🎀 You are not currently experiencing any breast problems.
🎀 You are not currently pregnant or nursing.
🎀 You live in one of the following counties: Cook, Berrien, Lowndes, Tift, Turner

These free mammograms will be performed only at our Southwell Medical campus in Adel.

Have you been putting off that GYN surgery because life keeps getting in the way?

Dr. Paul Smurda, who is known for his compassionate care and expertise in women’s health, is now using the new da Vinci 5 robotic surgery platform to perform a range of gynecological surgeries. This latest and most-advanced robotic system means smaller incisions, decreased physical trauma, and an accelerated recovery time for patients.

GYN procedures include:

-Hysterectomies
-Oophorectomies (removal of ovaries)
-Salpingectomies (removal of fallopian tubes)
-Ovarian cystectomies (removal of ovarian cysts).

Dr. Smurda is now seeing patients at Southwell Medical Sylvester Primary Care, located at 1010 W. Franklin Street in Sylvester.

Have you met your health insurance deductible for the year? If so, schedule your evaluation now so you can have your procedure performed by the end of the year.
