Live at the Sunbelt Ag Expo with Dr. Dontre’ Douse with Southwell Ear, Nose and Throat. Dr. Douse and Southwell are at the Expo through a partnership with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Moultrie. PCOM invited area healthcare facilities to provide short presentations to Expo attendees. Dr. Douse is discussing sinusitis and sinus surgery!

The Tift Regional Medical Center Foundation held its Stepping Out for Your Heart Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Tiftarea YMCA's Anderson Family Pickleball Courts. All proceeds benefited the foundation's Heart Safe Community program. Thanks to all who participated!

Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) has earned the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines - Heart Failure Gold Plus quality achievement award for its commitment to improving outcomes for patients with heart failure!

TRMC has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to treating patients according to the most up-to-date guidelines as outlined by the American Heart Association. Get With The Guidelines puts the expertise of the American Heart Association to work for hospitals nationwide, helping ensure patient care is aligned with the latest research and evidence-based guidelines. The program aims to increase healthy days at home and reduce hospital readmissions for heart failure patients.

🎀 You are not currently pregnant or nursing.
🎀 You live in one of the following counties: Cook, Berrien, Lowndes, Tift, Turner

📣 Big news for Southwell and our community! The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) has officially accredited Tift Regional Health System’s Internal Medicine Residency Program, set to launch in June 2026.

Residents will train across Southwell’s hospitals, clinics, and outpatient centers—bringing more primary care access and hands-on learning to our region.

Applications are open now through January 12, 2026, in ERAS for eight positions.

Southwell is committed to serving our communities! Thanks to our Telehealth team for all of their efforts.

The Coffee County School System extends sincere appreciation to Southwell of Tifton, Georgia for the generous donation of two telehealth carts with exam scopes. These much-needed resources will enhance health services for our students at Coffee Middle School and Westside Elementary School.

We are thankful for the ongoing collaboration between our school nurses, SBHC Provider/ Nurse Manager, Telehealth Coordinator, and the Global Partnership for Telehealth team—and for community partners like Southwell who help strengthen student wellness across our district.
