This holiday season, remember your friends and loved ones by purchasing a light for the 40th Annual Tree of Life. The proceeds from this event will help provide for the special needs of patients of Hospice of Tift Area and the Anita Stewart Oncology Center of Tift Regional Medical Center.

Donations are tax deductible and various giving levels are available. Donations are being accepted until the end of December.

Here's a way to find out how to get involved if you want to volunteer:

Coastal Plain CASA, Inc. is hosting our eighth annual Volunteer Recruitment Fair on August 31st at the Leroy Roger's Center from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The Volunteer Recruitment Fair is an event where people can do a quick walk-through and be educated by local non-profit organizations about ways they can serve as a volunteer right here in our community.

This event is an excellent opportunity for people who want to give back to their community and are looking for ways to give their time for a greater purpose. It would also benefit any company that requires volunteer hours for their employees so they can learn how they can obtain those hours.

Thanks to everyone who came out the last week of May to help us cut and sew gowns for one of our local nursing homes, Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.
