This year, we hosted three events at three different Virginia Garcia locations. These events were such a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community, share resources, and celebrate the power of Community Health Centers.

Each summer, community volunteers and partner organizations help support our staff at Farmworker Outreach events. Xochitl, Elissa, and McKenna (community volunteers) were all drawn to Virginia Garcia by its mission and connection with the farmworker community and are interested in pursuing medical careers. (We hope that they will return to us as employees in the future!)
Dr. Diana Antoniskis (Kaiser Permanente) partnered with Daniel Halberg (Linguava Interpreters) and Dr. Saskia van der Wal brought Medical Asst. Efrain Gutierrez (both from Kaiser Permanente), who helped interpret for our George Fox University Physical Therapy volunteers. It truly takes a village--and we appreciate everyone in ours!
