Thank you, Sheridan community, for the warm welcome and for joining us in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of our new Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center in Sheridan last Thursday!

We were honored to celebrate alongside Mayor Cale George, Brandon from U.S. Representative Andrea Salinas’ office, our CEO Gil Muñoz, COO Mark Millan, members of our Medical Board, and the incredible Virginia Garcia staff who made this new clinic possible.

Together, we’re building access to care and a healthier future for Sheridan and beyond.

Our mission at Virginia Garcia is to ensure everyone in our community, especially those facing barriers, gets the high-quality medical and dental care they need.

Access is Advocacy. We know too many assigned patients haven't been able to get timely appointments. We are changing that!

How we’re creating capacity:
- Opening more access points: Same-day care clinic, expanding Newberg Wellness Center, new Sheridan clinic, and more!
- Fully Staffing clinics and hiring more providers to increase availability.
- Optimizing our teams (including Dental & Pharmacy) to free up more time for patient visits.

Simply put: More appointments, less waiting, same great VG care.

Our new Sheridan Clinic is now open today, October 13th!

We’re excited to offer medical care for all patients in Sheridan, Willamina, and nearby communities - providing convenient, compassionate care close to home.

We'll be closed this Thursday, October 16th in preparation for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony from 4 - 6 PM. Join us then for snacks, entertainment, community resources, and more. Free and open to the community!

Modified Opening Week Hours Oct.13-17:
Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Regular Business Hours starting Oct. 20:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8am-5pm (Closed for Lunch 12-1pm)
Tuesday/Thursday: 10am-7pm (Closed for Lunch 2-3pm)

On October 3rd, several staff members involved in the Streamlining Clinic Supply workgroup conducted site visits. These visits included valuable conversations with site leaders and walk throughs to visually assess where supplies are kept. We want to listen to people and use their feedback to guide our recommendations, understanding unique space and constraints our sites have.
