Getting the most out of your session starts before you hit the table and continues after you leave. Here’s how to care for your mind and body:

Before:
Hydrate well – water helps prep your muscles
Eat light – a small meal is perfect
Arrive early – allow some time to relax without feeling rushed
Silence your phone – let yourself fully disconnect
Communicate – let your therapist know about any pain, tension, goals

After:
Keep hydrating – helps flush out toxins
Take it easy – your body just did some healing
Warm bath or shower – helps with soreness (add Epsom salt for bonus recovery)
Note how you feel – this helps you track progress over time

Waking up with a sore neck? Your sleep posture could be the problem! Try these positions to support your spine and wake up feeling better:

On your back – Use a thin pillow or a cervical pillow to support the natural curve on your neck.

On your side – Keep your neck aligned with your spine using a supportive pillow (not too high or too flat). A pillow between your knees helps too!

Avoid:

Sleeping on your stomach – it twists the neck and flattens the spine, increasing tension and pain.

Neck pain doesn’t start in the morning – it starts overnight. Adjust your sleep posture and pillow for better rest and pain-free mornings.
