Knees and Noses. Birds of a feather. One of my favorite topics to teach about in Yoga. Fall is my favorite time to teach about it because this is when noses get all dried out and or runny and the knees start getting creaky. What if we could balance all of that —it out and have you, your knees and nose feeling all tip top?

Restful but alert. Dappled by rainbows and fully aware that there is another dog or a letter carrier outside walking which is where I want to be, but pillows and my people are inside.

Spring awakening inside. Snow day outside… happy 💞 day too!

Speaking of awakening - there are some new happenings in this neck of the woods..

1) there’s a new group acupuncture and therapy collaboration happening with me and Darci Walker, see link in bio for details. Next session is Thursday, Feb 20, 2025

2) I’m returning to the yoga studio to sub a couple Wednesday AM classes in March. Check out this beautiful studio in Downtown Milwaukie. It’s full of 💕. Classes are online too.

3) I’m retiring the Beacon Acupuncture handle and it’s now

On Thursday, September 26, 7-9pm I’ll be joining 3 other health care practitioners (a naturopath, nurse practitioner and our host, a therapist ) to take a Deep Dive into Hormones for perimenopausal to menopausal women.

I’m excited to be a part of a conversation that normalizes this transition and is open to holistic perspectives about the changes women experience and ideas about how one can move through this time and be supported not only medically but also by each other.

It’s the summer of self care, self love and all the things right now. What I’m feeling the most though is the desire to support the whole community. I think the medicine we need most right now is each other

This is why I’m branching out from my one-on-one acupuncture practice this summer and taking part in events that bring people together where we can learn from one another and hear each other’s stories and memories that offer so much healing to all of us. Aromatherapy is a potent tool to elicit this healing and to hear each other’s stories.

I’m coming off the heels of a retreat with and looking forward to being at July 27th.

The Raven’s Wing Magical Co-op is a sweet, magical place where I live in Sellwood. Every time I visit there I feel so held, loved and accepted for exactly who I am. Do you ever make something because you don’t like your options?

This is my answer for pain relieving liniment that doesn’t smell like a box of mints (peppermint is my least favorite oil).

Also, I love the concept of turmeric and copaiba essential oils but I don’t love the fragrance on their own. Add the most magical essential oil there ever was (frankincense) and a dash of black pepper. And there you have !

Back to helping humans have less pain. Let me know if you need some. I’ll be adding this blend to my online shop soon. DM me if you need it sooner…
