Let’s talk about those little circles you sometimes see after cupping. 🌀
When a cup is placed on your skin, it creates suction that lifts the tissue. This increases blood flow and draws out stagnation — things like old tension, metabolic waste, and adhesions that can get ‘stuck’ in the muscle.
The marks aren’t bruises (though they can look similar). Bruises come from impact damage, while cupping marks are a result of increased circulation and release.
✨ What the marks can tell us:
Darker = more stagnation that needed clearing
Lighter/fainter = less stagnation in that area
They usually fade in 3–7 days
Many clients notice less pain, better mobility, and a quicker recovery after cupping. And the best part? At FeelGood Bodyworks, cupping can always be included in your session at no extra cost. 🌿”
