We specialize in chronic and acute pain for both men and women, due to sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, arthritis, and repetitive movements or activities that have lead to pain. We also specialize in women’s health, digestive health, and stress relief. We believe it is important to work with you as an individual, making changes that are reasonable and sustainable to meet your individual health goals.
We have a special interest in women’s health, having both personally experienced the benefits of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. We have experience treating women’s health issues such as irregular, painful, and heavy menstrual cycles, pre-menstrual syndrome, infertility, and peri-menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and night sweats. Stress is high in the typical American life style. We specialize in stress reduction and emotional support. We work with you to balance your body and emotions to help reduce your stress, anxiety, and depression and promote your emotional health. We also teach methods that you can use at home to continue your treatment and manage your stress.
If the gut isn’t happy the body isn’t happy. Whitney studied nutrition for over eight years and she ispassionate about improving health through food and diet alongside Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. Healing the digestive system and finding foods that are most nutritious for your body to improve your overall health. Acupuncture can help with weight loss, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, constipation, diarrhea, and indigestion.
Our clinic specializes in Facial Rejuvenation. Whitney is trained in Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture, facial, neck, and abdominal protocols, which is a healthy safe method to improve skin tone while improving your overall health. Natasha is certified in Facial Cupping by the International Cupping Therapy Association. She uses very small, specialized cups to vitalize skin and drain fluids, causing a dramatic instant change in skin appearance and texture. Both facial treatments are perfect for looking your best whether you're preventing the effects of aging, have a special event, or just as a treat for yourself.
Whitney provides Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Shiatsu massage and nutrition counseling to help you reach your optimal health. Whitney is a Licensed Acupuncturist and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Whitney has extensive training in sports injuries and pain management with her certificate in Whitfield Reaves Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program. She is certified through National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) in the NADA protocol, an acupuncture protocol used for addiction, mental health, and emotional trauma. She is also certified to teach 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong through Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School.
Whitney earned her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and her Bachelors of Science (BS) in Nutrition Science from Oregon State University (OSU) with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. In addition, she studied and received extensive clinical training in both Advanced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology through the prestigious Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. This specialized hospital-based training gives me a unique perspective and knowledge base from skilled Chinese doctors with which I can help patients achieve their best health.
Whitney is a native Oregonian and she loves spending time with her husband in the beautiful green outdoors. Cooking and experimenting in the kitchen is how she relaxes. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new places and cultures. Whitney had the great fortune of living in Australia and spending significant time in Central and South America. This gave her a great appreciation and understanding for diverse backgrounds and Spanish proficiency. Whitney is passionate about giving back to the community she grew up in. One of the ways Whitney helps others is through the Tigard Rotary Club.
Natasha obtained her masters in Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) and her Bachelors of Science (BS) in Kinesiology Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). Natasha is a Licensed Acupuncturist and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She grew up dancing and wanted to pursue her fascinated for the human body and alternative care by bridging her knowledge of Western medicine with Chinese medicine.
Natasha treats the whole body to find address the root of your problem areas utilizing her skills of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She is passionate for treating women’s health, fueled by her goals to help empower women of all ages with information on their reproductive cycle and health. When not at the clinic, you’ll find her biking to dance classes around the city, indulging in foodie adventures, and catching live music!
