The NCS Portland staff have been making disposable masks from towels – no sewing required! Research is showing they work better than plain cotton, and although still not medical grade, they are effective for public use. We are passing them out, along with hand sanitizer, to first responders, nursing home staff, and other caregivers in the area. We want to do all we can to help keep our community safe, and give something back to the hard-working healthcare workers. We're so grateful to you. 🙏

Our Portland team set up a table at the front of the office so delivery folks coming in can safely drop off packages, as well as take a snack or portable hand sanitizer to keep themselves going. We wanted to show our appreciation for the efforts of those who continue working every day to serve the needs of all of us during the pandemic. At the same time, we are making every effort to keep our staff and customers safe by following the CDC social distancing guidelines at all times.
