We had an amazing time with the Yard Sale this week at Bonaventure if Tigard! 😄

A HUGE thank you to the residents who volunteered. They put in an enormous amount of work, and it turned out amazing!

All proceeds will go toward our team donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Mark your calendar for the walk on October 11th at the Oregon Zoo. Stop by the front desk to register!

We have been having so much fun this month!!

Sharing a few pics from our trip to the Portland Art Museum, our happy hour and entertainment, a little Mexican train, flower arranging and perhaps the most fun-bean bag baseball, staff vs. residents!! The residents won in a landslide, something like 26 to 16. The rematch is next week!! ⚾️

We had an incredible luau this week at Bonaventure of Tigard! 🌴 🌺 🍍

The food was delicious, and the entertainment and company were even better.

Special highlight was when some of the staff were asked (forced!) to learn a dance!! Thanks to our good sports: Executive Director Jen, Activity Director O.K., and 2 of our amazing servers, Emily and Mackey. 😂😂

Residents of Bonaventure of Tigard had so much fun at our first “Science with Holly” event! The Egg Drop is an old favorite, exploring the laws of gravity, momentum and inertia, and it was a huge success!! Out of about 15 entries, only 1 egg cracked!!! Well done, team! We can’t wait for the next experiment! 😆
