Enhancing Pediatric Care Through Simulation Training.

A huge thank you to Kenya Kenya Jones, KidsABC Simulation Clinical Educator, for providing our Mountain Lakes Medical Center nursing team with a hands-on Emergency Room pediatric case simulation training this week.

The training session helped our nurses in advancing their clinical skills, reinforcing team coordination, and elevating our overall preparedness for pediatric care in the ER.

We are grateful for this partnership and the continued commitment to high-quality pediatric care in our rural community!

*KidsABC is a collaboration between the Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center Mercer University School of Medicine, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Every day is rural health day at GRHIC, but today we celebrate the physicians, health care professionals and communities working to strengthen health and wellness across rural Georgia. GRHIC supports this mission by providing critical health education and resources through initiatives and collaborative efforts such as Kids Alliance for Better Care (KidsABC), the Maternal Health Observership and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Rural Scholars summer programs, the Georgia Agricultural Wellness Alliance, Pediatric Mental Health Initiative, Opioid Misuse Prevention Project and many more.

We are proud to work with people and organizations across the state to advance rural health together.

Our Wildcats take on Dodge County tomorrow night in the first round of the GHSA State Playoffs!

🎟️ Ticket Information

Per GHSA regulations, everyone must have a ticket or an official GHSA pass for entry.

Students will not receive free admission as they do during regular-season games.

Season passes are not valid for playoff games.

Tickets are $10.

📌 Safety Reminder

Students should remain seated with their parents during the game and not congregate in other areas of the stadium. Our SROs and community partners will be on hand to ensure everyone’s safety.
