Do you recognize this bench? This is an oldie, dating way back to our Juan Tabo studio days! My father-in-law so lovingly built three of these for our (back then) massive lobby.

We only need one of them now. I've been working the last month on refinishing and refurbishing this bench -- a much-needed job after 10 years of continuous love and use. Full disclosure, the stain did not turn out how I wanted at all. But you know what? It's still perfect. It incorporates our history, our students who sat here, and a dad who has been nothing but helpful to me. And it will serve the future of our beautiful studio and students just perfectly.
