In a world that constantly asks us to do more, Savasana Intensive offers something different… a space to simply be.

This class is centered around extended, fully supported rest in a calm, candlelit setting. Soft music, subtle aromatherapy, and thoughtfully arranged props—blankets, bolsters, and other supports to create an environment where the body can truly let go. Gentle grounding adjustments may be offered to enhance comfort and deepen relaxation.

🌿There is little movement.
🌿There is no effort.
🌿There is nothing to achieve.

Instead, you’ll experience the power of stillness—where the body restores, the breath slows, and the mind begins to settle.

As we move into a new week of practice, let this be our intention.

Rain doesn’t resist the fall—it trusts it.
It softens the earth, nourishes what’s beneath the surface, and makes space for growth.

On the mat, we practice this same kind of courage.

The courage to release tension we’ve been holding.
The courage to slow down instead of pushing through.
The courage to “fall” out of a pose, take a breath, and begin again.

There is strength in that softness.
There is growth in that surrender.

Through slow, supported Yin postures and extended holds, we gently open the body while encouraging deep release in the connective tissues. Restorative elements are woven throughout, allowing you to soften into stillness, calm the nervous system, and transition out of “doing” into simply being.

The Spring Thaw
Spring Equinox Yoga Nidra with Hot Stones….A Quiet Seasonal Softening

Winter asks us to brace.
The (approaching) Spring Equinox invites us to soften.

Join us at the Diabetes Center for a peaceful one-hour practice designed to help the body gently transition from winter’s stillness to spring’s returning light. Warm basalt stones will be thoughtfully placed on grounding points of the body — palms, belly, heart, and feet — offering comforting warmth as tension held through the colder months begins to melt.

A guided Yoga Nidra practice will lead you into the restful space between waking and sleep, where the nervous system can recalibrate and the body remembers how to deeply rest.

✨ This is not a stretch class
✨ There is no effort
✨ Simply a time to rest, warm, and thaw

Leave feeling:

Day and night are in perfect balance on 3/20. The Light is retuning, Nature Is waking up. We get to shed what Winter has left behind, and come into the Spring Season with Intention.

Join Embrace Yoga this week for our usual grounding practices—with a little seasonal twist. Through mindful movement, gentle twists, breath, and restorative rest, we’ll help the body shake off winter and find balance again.

Just as the earth begins to soften and open, we’ll invite our own bodies to do the same.
