Some days look like deep focus and high energy.
Other days... it's more like this.

☕️Recording my first podcast episode - equal parts dread and excitement.
💤Still adjusting to the time change (the "extra hour" feels like a lie)
🧠Trying to keep the plot with my business when I all I want to do is hibernate.

So today's plan: small wins, warm drinks, and giving myself a little grace.

The Maxfields are amazing people with a fantastic business!

If you haven't stopped at Green Coast Market in Rockaway yet, put it on your list. It's and indoor farmers market and local maker incubator. They have delicious fresh produce, meats, breads, wines, ciders, beer, handmade treats and gifts, etc, etc, ect. It is awesome, and much needed.

Such a pleasure to work with Julie and Jason. Thanks for the trust and I'm excited to see all the great things you will do for Rockaway and beyond.

I almost skipped posting today.

The anxiety is anxiety-ing hard right now, and everything feels like too much.

Showing up and sharing consistently isn't always easy.

Some days I feel like I could take on the world, and others, I feel like if I'm too real, people will pull away.

But here's the truth: some people will pull away, and that's okay.

Because the ones who stay? They're the ones who really see you.

Being real attracts the people who root for you, and thats exactly who you want in your corner.

So here's to showing up as ourselves - anxious, tired, vulnerable, cranky... but still showing up.

If your marketing (or your mood) feels heavy right now, same.

It's okay to take a day off to breathe.

It's also okay to throw the scheduled content out the window, be honest, and see who else relates.

I'll be honest... for a while, my social media was a mess.

I'd post when I remembered... or when I felt "inspired"... aka rarely.

Some weeks I'd post 3 times. Others, not at all.

And of course, I felt like social media "just doesn't work for me."

Then I started taking my own advice to my clients, and made a solid plan.

I built a simple system around 3 content pillars (the topics my clients deal with the most), and themed days that keep me on track.

Now I know exactly what to say, and more importantly, why I'm saying it.

I spend less time creating, and get more consistent results.

If you're feeling scattered with your marketing, start by picking 3 pillars. Everything else gets easier from there.
