Grief does not always arrive as tears or visible heartbreak. Sometimes it moves quietly through the body, showing up in small pauses, in moments where memory catches you off guard, in the realization that something once held a sacred place in your life and no longer exists there.

That awareness is not weakness. It is evidence of depth, of attachment, of the capacity to love fully. Grief is simply love that has nowhere to land, and honoring it is part of honoring yourself.

What you loved mattered, and so does the way you carry it now.

There are jobs most of us never think about until the lights go out.
And then there are the people who step into the storm so the rest of us don’t have to.

Tonight, as winter tightens its grip and ice weighs heavy on every wire, our thoughts turn to the linemen working high above frozen ground, hands numb, faces stung by snow, hearts steady despite the danger. While families stay inside, wrapped in blankets and warmth, these men climb poles coated in ice, trusting their training and each other to bring power back to homes they may never see.

This is not easy work.
It is cold that cuts through layers.
Wind that refuses mercy.
Long hours that don’t pause just because it’s dark or unsafe.

So tonight, we pray for protection over every lineman heading out into this weather. May their footing be sure. May their equipment hold. May fatigue not cloud their judgment. And may they return home safely to the people who wait for them.

We pray for their families too. For the quiet worry. For the late nights. For the strength it takes to love someone whose job lives on the edge of danger.

If your lights are on right now, remember who made that possible.
Say a prayer.
Say thank you.
And never forget the hands that keep the world glowing when winter tries to take it away.

While many of us stay inside, there are those who step out into the storm.

They answer calls. Clear roads. Restore power. Keep watch while the rest of the world sleeps.
This is for the first responders, the linemen, the plow drivers, and every worker who faces freezing winds so others can stay safe.
They don’t ask for praise.

They simply show up.
We pray for steady hands.

For safe passage.

For angels to ride with them through every mile of snow and ice.
May they return home safely.

May their families feel peace while they are away.

May their courage never go unseen.
In the quiet of the storm, their work speaks loudest.
Thank you. Truly.

Uncertainty does not mean you are lost. It often means you are standing at the edge of growth, where old patterns no longer fit and new clarity is still forming.

Each choice made from honesty reshapes your relationship with yourself. Even when the outcome is unclear, choosing what feels true strengthens trust in your own inner guidance.

You are not behind for questioning the path. You are becoming more aligned by listening to yourself instead of forcing certainty.

Keep choosing from the heart.
