A huge thank you to HighCraft Builders for generously building a beautiful new stage in our Theatre Room! This special space will give the kids at Respite Care opportunities to perform, play, build confidence, and participate in our "Respite's Got Talent" activity! We are so grateful for community partners like High Craft Builders who help make spaces like this possible for the children and families we serve. 💙

We are looking for Day Camp Volunteers this summer! ☀️💙 Respite Care’s Day Camp Program gives children with developmental disabilities the opportunity to enjoy fun, accessible summer experiences in the community with the support of caring volunteers and staff.

Volunteers are paired one-on-one with a child to help them participate in activities, build confidence, and make lasting summer memories. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience and a meaningful way to make a difference in a child’s life. Day Camp runs from June 1st until July 31st. Volunteers can sign up for a day, a week, or more!

Break out the neon and tease that hair! Head over to Austin’s American Grill on Harmony Road for Austin’s Rad Patio Party on Thursday, June 11 from 4–8 PM! Enjoy live 80’s music from DJ Drake, themed mocktails, retro treats, raffle giveaways, happy hour specials, and a special peach-infused beer release from Horse & Dragon Brewing Company. Best of all, a portion of the evening’s proceeds will support Respite Care and the extraordinary children and families we serve!

Friendly reminder that Respite Care will close at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24 and will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!

Yesterday was an amazing day of celebration as we officially welcomed our community into Respite Care’s new home! Nearly 180 people gathered with us for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, and we loved having the opportunity to give tours and share this special space with so many supporters, partners, and friends. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone and to E.L.M. Photography FoCo for capturing the day so beautifully and getting these wonderful photos back to us so quickly!

This morning, we officially celebrated the ribbon cutting of Respite Care’s new home in Timnath! We were so excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with our community and are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the morning so special. One of our favorite parts of the event was giving tours of the new space and sharing firsthand how this building will help us continue expanding our services for extraordinary children and their families for years to come. Thank you for celebrating with us and for being part of this exciting new chapter for Respite Care!
