This beautiful weather has Lorien Columbia residents in the mood for a Luau! 🌴🌸✨

Luckily, they already had one scheduled, with beautiful Hawaiian fire dancing, delicious sweet treats, and even getting to see some team members test out some Hawaiian dance moves!

Though our residents couldn't go to Hawaii, this was as authentic as it gets!

'Tis the season for Christmas in July! 🌴🎅✨

Our residents at Lorien Bel Air love enjoying their Ice Cream Parlor, and the fun is doubled when Santa stops by! Making quite the trek from his vacation home in Hawaii, Santa came by to make sure our residents were staying on the nice list and enjoying their ice cream! Mrs. Claus didn't make the trip because she was enjoying her beach vacation, but Santa brought enough jolly energy for the both of them!

Our residents at Lorien Encore love their crafting! ✨🖌️🍦

This week, they created ice cream cones, using pure creativity and a little magic! Though these cones are made out of paper, our residents loved designing their cones, and making up some fun new 'flavor' ideas!

Our residents became quite the artists this week! 🖌️🎨✨

Thank you to the Carroll County Public Library, our residents were paired up with elementary schoolers to draw each others portraits! Not only did our residents have a blast, but the kids did too- sharing laughs and memories that will be kept alive in the beautiful portraits they created!

There are a few good things about summer in Maryland, and one of them is Snowballs! ✨🍧💚

Snowballs have been a Baltimore summer staple since the 1800's, and our residents loved soaking up some sunshine while eating this refreshing treat! No matter what your favorite flavor is, or if you like marshmallows, all snowball lovers are welcome at Lorien Encore!

It might be hard to spot the difference, but our Lorien Columbia team members were golfing for a cause at the Italian Invitational at Turf Valley Resort yesterday! Everyone had a great time raising money for Loyola University Maryland scholarships!

Thank you to Carroll County Public Library for coming out to Lorien Mt. Airy and Lorien Taneytown to give our residents an awesome puppet show!

Our residents learned all about the history of puppeteering, and watched the 'Little Red Riding Hood' puppet show!

Chamera has been with Lorien for almost 5 years, and she shows up every day with a smile, going above and beyond to take care of her residents. If you've ever met one of Chamera's residents, they will tell you that she is a bright, dedicated CNA who is always willing to lend a hand.
