Submit your entry form now for a chance to be one of the dozens of local businesses, community groups, and other organizations marching down Oak Park Avenue during the 26th annual Tinley Park Irish Parade on Sunday, March 8!🍀

Participation is open to Tinley Park businesses and organizations only until Friday, Feb. 6. Afterward, all other businesses and organizations are invited to submit. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will be able to have a maximum of two vehicles (or one vehicle and one trailer/float), or 50 feet of space. Each business or organization is limited to one parade entry; more space may become available.

Please note that submitting the entry form doesn’t guarantee a spot in the Irish Parade. The Village will contact applicants with additional information, including next steps, as entries are finalized for the parade. Each business or organization is limited to one parade entry through Feb. 6.

The Village recently sent communication via email regarding business license renewals, which are due Dec. 31. Please be advised that invoices generated by the BS&A system did not include an amount due. Please be sure to pay the business license online (https://ow.ly/HNU450XJLmz) or contact licensing@tinleypark.org for assistance.

The Village requires that most businesses in Tinley Park have a valid business license. Some business types are regulated by the State and are not required to get a business license. If you're unsure if your business needs a business license or not, please call (708) 444-5004.

Don't miss the third annual Southwest Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive.

Presented by the Village of Tinley Park, the Village of Orland Park, Orland Township, and the Office of Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison, the free event will give job-seekers a chance to connect in-person with hiring managers and representatives from leading local businesses. Attendees can submit resumes, participate in on-the-spot interviews, and explore available positions and career pathways across a variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, retail, hospitality, and more.

The fair will open early for military veterans and special recreation groups at 10:45 a.m. The first 100 job seekers will receive a $10 gift card and a tote bag. All registered attendees will be entered into a drawing for prizes including gift cards, backpacks, and laptops. Free professional headshots for digital download will be available for all job seekers.
