• 2-4 plus years of medical billing experience and a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT4 coding is required
• Prior experience and working knowledge of the Revenue Cycle Management tasks of data entry, payment posting and collection activities
• Must have prior experience and working knowledge of claims, appeals, explanation of benefits and working insurance accounts receivable reports
• Familiar with medical terminology and coding experience is beneficial
• Great written and oral communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Current work experience with the Medisoft Patient Accounting software is highly preferred
• Working knowledge of Excel is required
Must be able to multi-task and work a claim until successful completion
Position is Part time or Full Time
