As the director of Yoga University, I am passionate about creating a positive and productive learning environment for students and teachers. My fifteen years of experience in the Long Branch Public School System includes classroom instruction, coaching, curriculum development, and team leadership. I am an E-RYT 500 National Yoga Alliance certified instructor and have achieved a Children’s Yoga Certification from Radiant Child Yoga. I am also certified in a 500-hour Healing Yoga program. My teaching experience involves working with clients of all ages, life paths, and learning abilities in various NJ communities, including outreach programs in both mental health and correctional facilities.

My continuing education consists of specific training in the following areas: Scientific research on yoga for children and adolescents, teaching yoga to traumatized youth, bully-proofing skills using yoga, managing sensory integrative challenges in the classroom with yoga tools, chair yoga, and enhancing kids’ love of learning with brain games.
