Coming out as an adult can be a complex and emotional experience. Claiming your identity later in life might bring up feelings of self-doubt - you might even feel some imposter syndrome.

While you can’t always control those feelings, you can change how you respond to them in a way that affirms your LGBTQ+ identity.

No matter when your coming out journey starts, remember: being your authentic self is one of the best things you can do for your mental health. 🏳️‍🌈

Today is !

The holiday, which originated in Galveston, Texas, in 1865, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. This day represents freedom and justice for Black Americans and serves as an opportunity for all of us to educate ourselves about the continued impact of trauma caused by slavery.

Today, we’re focusing on uplifting Black voices in mental health by highlighting these Black-led mental health organizations.
