Navigating uncertainty together in these challenging times marked by questions, fear and anxiety due to the rights of our community being targeted in ways that can feel threatening and isolating. You don’t have to face it alone. Finding a supportive community is essential.
This in person closed therapy group is designed to provide a safe and affirming space for Q***r adults in New Jersey, to help navigate challenges of the current sociopolitical climate.
This group will utilize Sand Play Therapy, psychoeducation, advocacy/activism opportunities and self soothing practices to foster resilience, empowerment, and community.
Group Focus:
*Skill Building: Learn and practice valuable coping and regulation skills to manage stress, anxiety & other challenges.
*Advocacy and activism: Education and opportunities.
*Support Network: Connect with fellow LGBTQIA2S+ adults who understand your unique experiences and can offer support and encouragement, within a therapeutic setting.
*Self-Care: Explore, develop and implement self-care practices to enhance your overall wellbeing and help you feel grounded and centered in these turbulent times.
