Feb 1 Holly Shepherd from Third Street Salon in Downtown Tipp City took over the management of Broadway Hair Studio and Company location. Merging the 2 salons Holly changed the name to Canal lock Salon. She brought with her 3 experienced stylists to join the Broadway Staff. All of your stylist are still available except Debbie who stepped away from management. You can message Debbie if you need to contact her. Everyone else you can call 937-667-4805 or go to canallocksalon@glossgenius.com to schedule if your stylist, nail tech, massage therapist or esthetician has on-line booking.

Today marks the last day of business for Broadway Hair Studio and Company. Starting February 1, 2026, Holly Shephard from Third Street Salon also in Downtown Tipp City, will move her salon to the 2nd Street location. Merging her staff and Broadway's staff creating a new salon, Canal Lock Salon.

Debbie Dungan, the owner of Broadway, opened the salon on July 5, 2006. With 4 stylists and 1 nail tech. Over almost 20 years, the salon grew upwards to 18 employees and a new location on 2nd Street. As the salon retires, the staff consisted of 16 independent contractors and 2 receptionists. Plus, the many family members who helped behind the scenes. Debbie is forever grateful to all the customers who allowed the staff to beautify your life, and for your friendships.

As Canal Lock Salon emerges, know that your stylist and technicians are all still available at 937-667-4805 except Debbie call 937-776-6897.

Update: THE SIDEWALK IS CLEARED!

The roads in Tipp City are manageable. Our City has done a great job clearing all of this snow.
Broadway Hair Studio & Co will be open for business starting tomorrow, Tues Jan 27.
If your stylist is not able to make it in, you will get a call from them. Please park in our lot behind the building. As of now, our front side walks are not cleared. We are on their list.

My amazing sister and stained glass teacher extraordinaire, Heather, will be running the shop from 11 to 3 today. She is filling in for Tanis, and I am so grateful for her. Come by and give her some love. ❤️

During the Tipp City Yuletide Winter's Gathering the Grinch was at the 2nd & Dow St. building. We are so excited to be able to collect a generation donation of canned goods to donate to the Tipp City Needy Basket and $200 to donate to Tipp City Schools Angel Fund!! Thank you everyone for the generous donations that attended!

Thank you to Browse Awhile Book Store for inviting our salon to set up a booth in front of their business during Tipp City's Mum Festival Car Show. Our young talents showed their talent doing free hair braiding. Madison Morrison, Rachel Ploutz and future stylist Olivia Hager had a great time. Watch for us next year.
