Last Friday we celebrated with a fun taste test challenge!

Four of our staff members were blindfolded and put to the test to see if they could tell the real OREO from the fake. There were lots of laughs as everyone tried to guess which cookie was the original!

After the challenge, we all enjoyed digging into our favorite cookie together. It was a sweet way to celebrate the day!

Happy Long-Term Care Administrators Week, Miss Brenda! 🎉

Brenda’s dedication, compassion, and leadership shine through in everything she does and our residents and families absolutely love her!

Miss Brenda began her career as a C.N.A. and QMA and has been a Licensed Administrator since 1998. Throughout her tenure, she has served as a Business Office Manager, consultant, and Administrator Preceptor, sharing her knowledge and passion for long-term care with so many along the way.

Outside of work, Miss Brenda enjoys spending time with her three children and grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking meals for others and painting. 🎨

Her true passion is the elderly and hearing the stories of their lives and experiences. She believes that if she can make a resident smile, her day is complete. Miss Brenda truly feels that working in long-term care is her calling in life, and we are so grateful for the heart she brings to our community every day. 💙

The Waters of Tipton would like to give a big thank you to the amazing girls from the National Honor Society for spending time with us and helping make our Valentine’s Day Ball extra special! 💖

They generously volunteered their time to do hair and makeup for our ladies, making each one feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated for the evening. It truly meant so much to our residents, and the smiles said it all! 💄✨

Congratulations to our King Leslie Dean and Queen Patti — you both wear your crowns beautifully! 💖 Thank you for bringing so much joy, kindness, and heart to our community.

As we move through cold and flu season, help us protect our residents ❤️

If you’re feeling under the weather, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting until you’re feeling better. Even mild symptoms can put our residents at risk.

This includes:
🤒 Fever or feeling hot
😷 Cough or sore throat
🤧 Runny or blocked nose
🤕 General feeling of being unwell

We truly have so much to be thankful for here at The Waters.

First, to our incredible team — every CNA, nurse, dietary worker, and each person in between — thank you for everything you do to enhance the lives of our residents each and every day. Your dedication and heart never go unnoticed.

A special thank you to our Administrator and DON for leading with such care and compassion. We appreciate you more than words can say.

To our residents’ families, thank you for entrusting us with your loved ones. And to our wonderful residents — thank you for making each day brighter. We absolutely love having you with us!
