Opioid use disorder is a treatable medical condition, and the right care can make all the difference.

FHCSO’s Medication Assisted Recovery & Support (MARS) Program provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment for adults 18+ in Johnston, Marshall, Coal, and Atoka counties. Recovery isn’t about facing it alone, it’s about having the right tools, guidance, and support.

The MARS Program offers:
• FDA-approved medications such as Suboxone
• Individual counseling with a licensed professional
• Peer support and behavioral health services
• Affordable, judgment-free care, including options for those without insurance

Expanded access is now available Monday through Thursday at our Tishomingo clinic with Tasha Cummins, APRN-CNP, PMHNP-C, along with counseling support from Terry Truett, MS, LPC.

FHCSO’s Extended Care Clinic in Tishomingo and Atoka are now open on weekends, making it easier to get treated for everyday illnesses and minor injuries when your regular provider isn’t available.

We treat:
• Cold & flu symptoms
• Ear & eye issues
• Headaches & minor injuries
• Burns, rashes, sprains & simple fractures
• Mild abdominal pain & urinary concerns
• On-site X-rays & more

Not sure where to go?
Urgent Care: minor illnesses and injuries (coughs, sprains, UTIs)
ER: chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe trauma, or life-threatening emergencies

Friday: 7:30AM–6:00PM
Saturday: 8:00AM–6:00PM

This month, our FHCSO Behavioral Health Team had the opportunity to join the Adult Health Fair at Murray State College , and we’re so grateful to be part of events that bring our community together 💚

In recognition of Counseling Appreciation Month, our team was there to promote awareness of the services they provide and the impact behavioral health support has on overall well-being. Moments like these allow us to connect, educate, and remind others that support is always within reach.

During Lab Appreciation Week, we’re proud to recognize our incredible FHCSO Lab Team across all five of our clinics, the behind-the-scenes professionals who play a vital role in patient care every single day. Their precision, dedication, and attention to detail ensure accurate results and better outcomes for every patient we serve.

Recently, our lab earned a COLA accreditation plaque with zero deficiencies, reflecting the highest standards in quality and patient safety, and just two weeks later successfully completed a CLIA inspection with strong results both essential programs that ensure labs meet strict national and federal standards for accuracy and reliability. This level of excellence doesn’t happen by chance, and we are so grateful for the commitment and expertise our lab team brings every day!
