17% of unwitnessed falls are never reported by those living with dementia. The fall can then go untreated and needed care can be missed. At Addington Place of Titusville, we’re putting an end to unwitnessed and untreated falls in the bedroom. We’ve implemented SafelyYou in our community, which enables team members to see how, when, and why an on-the-ground event took place, providing critical information so residents receive the care they need when they need it. It’s part of our comprehensive fall management program. And part of how we provide higher-quality care.
