We’re thrilled to highlight another incredible session at our upcoming HOPE & Health: Women’s Wellness Fair. This essential conversation on PPD: Breaking the Silence & Finding Support will help moms and families navigate the complexities of postpartum life. We will discuss how to recognize PPD signs , the best ways to start a compassionate conversation , and the steps toward finding healing and trusted resources.

This session is designed to provide practical insights and a supportive space for women at all stages of motherhood. Best of all, it is just one of many free resources available to our community during the fair!

43 years of heart, hustle, and care👏

Today, we are saying a bittersweet “see you later” to a true Highpoint Health - Sumner legend: Ms. Barb!

Barb’s journey here is the definition of dedication. She started her career in the dish room and, over the last four decades, has touched nearly every part of our team - serving as a cafe host, cook, diet clerk, supervisor, manager, and cashier.

To us, Barb is more than just a colleague; she’s our “work momma bear.” She is the first to offer a kind word and the first to make sure things are done exactly right. Her passion and big heart have left an indelible mark on these halls, and while we are so excited for her next chapter, she will be profoundly missed.

Thank you, Barb for 43 years of excellence, happy retirement!🎉

We just wrapped up Patient Safety Awareness Week, and our teams went all out. From diving into Patient Safety Jeopardy and hunting for "Golden Tickets" to cracking crossword puzzles, it’s been a week full of competition, learning, and plenty of treats.

One of our favorite highlights? The Shine Bright Safety Selfie Challenge! 📸 Our staff donned their brightest colors and stepped into the spotlight to show that patient safety is at the heart of everything we do.

February News Round-Up: Excellence, Impact, and Heart ❤️

February was an incredible month of growth and giving at Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas. We are so proud of our team for officially crushing our "Highpoint Has Heart" food drive goal (ended 2/6), coming together to pack bags and ensure our local students have the resources they need to thrive.

The spirit of community continued with our Annual Heart Health Fair, where we had the privilege of sharing life-saving education and wellness resources with our neighbors. We were also deeply honored to be named the Business Entity Award Winner at the Health Leadership Awards, hosted by the Sumner County Health Committee, a testament to the dedication our staff shows every single day.

From welcoming News Channel 5 to share a heartwarming patient story to celebrating these collective milestones, we are constantly inspired by the impact we can make together. We are so grateful to our staff and our community for making this February one to remember!
