Stephens County Hospital is a 96-bed, acute care, medical/surgical facility located in the beautiful foothills of Northeast Georgia. Over 600 dedicated employees are here each and every day to render the best care possible to our patients. Stephens County Hospital offers 24-hour laboratory, respiratory therapy and radiology services. Our radiology department services include nuclear medicine, CT scanner, MRI with breast imaging and biopsy capabilities, digital mammography, fluoroscopy and ultrasound with vascular/echo capabilities. Stephens County Hospital offers comprehensive rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, sports medicine and a new wound management center opening in 2013. Phase II and Phase III cardiac rehab as well as pulmonary rehab services are also available. Surgical services are provided in our five operating rooms plus an additional procedure room and outpatient surgical patients are able to recover in a 10-bed outpatient recovery area prior to discharge. Inpatient services include medical, surgical, intensive care, intermediate care, obstetrics and pediatrics. Stephens County Hospital’s independent, personal care homes - The Wilkinson Center, a 40-room facility, and the Clary Care Center, 42-room facility, provide private resident accommodations, central community rooms for activities, spacious lobbies for visiting with friends and family as well as large dining rooms where meals are served.
